This sled really isnt that great. Was excited to use on an ice and snow covered hill. PERFECT sled conditions this sled would barely move then the bottom actually broke just due to the stresses of a 56 lb five year old heading down a hill. Do yourself a favor and look for other sled products.... this sled is way to cheaply made to command such a price.

Perfect snow day where my kids would normally be sledging all day but they have just come after being the only kids not able to move down the ski slope that is our neighbors' front yard. This sledge might be okay on more frozen snow but in the powdery 12+ inches that we just got over night it has been useless. It is back to the cheap plastic disk for us.

Christmas gift and then had NO snow the whole Christmas break. Now only a week or two into snow season and the handle broke on the second use - huge gash on the bottom on the third use; and my kid is not even that rough on his things. Roughly a $35 purchase equates to approximately $10 per hour of use. Now I hope I'll be able to buy a replacement in the stores, considering the season is probably closing for these types of things. Save your packaging box, people. I didn't and now I need to go through the hassle of finding an appropriate box.
